Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Engineer role based in Mangaluru.

The Network

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and related network infrastructure to support the company’s internal operations and client projects. Daily responsibilities include configuring network devices, monitoring performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, and ensuring robust network security. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan network upgrades, document configurations and procedures,



and support first-of-its-kind networking and security solutions.

The Network

Engineer will be expected to stay current with emerging networking technologies and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement of Techser’s networking services.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design, including planning, deploying, and optimizing LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructures.
- Proficiency in Network Administration and Troubleshooting for switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Knowledge of Network Security principles and practices, including configuration of security policies, monitoring, and incident response.
- Understanding of IP addressing, routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.
- Experience with enterprise-grade network hardware and common network monitoring tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and clear documentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Mangaluru, collaborate effectively in a team workplace, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications (such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) are an advantage.
