Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, firewall administration, switching, and routing. The candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure in a 24x7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls.
- Manage firewall policies, security rules, NAT, VPN, objects, and firewall logs.
- Configure and troubleshoot switching and routing infrastructure.
- Work with BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.
- Manage VLANs, trunking, STP, EtherChannel, and Layer 2/Layer 3 switching.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, packet loss, routing, and firewall issues.
- Support IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, and site-to-site VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and availability using network monitoring tools.
- Perform network changes, upgrades,



and configuration activities.
- Troubleshoot network issues using appropriate tools, including packet captures and firewall logs.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers for issue resolution.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.

Mandatory Skills
- 1+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall.
- Strong experience in Firewall, Switching, and Routing.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers.
- Positive understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, NAT, DNS, DHCP, ARP, and subnetting.
- Experience with BGP and OSPF.
- Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting skills.
- Positive knowledge of VPN and network security concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Education

B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
