Key Responsibilities1. Costing & Cost Control

- Develop and maintain product-wise / SKU-wise costing.
- Calculate standard, actual, and estimated product costs.
- Analyze material, labour, overhead, conversion, and production costs.
- Monitor raw-material consumption and manufacturing yield.
- Analyze production variances and identify reasons for cost overruns.
- Review BOM, routing, standard consumption, and process costs.
- Conduct cost reduction and cost optimization studies.
- Support pricing decisions through product/customer-wise profitability analysis.

1. MIS & Management Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Develop dashboards covering:
- Sales and gross margin
- Production and productivity
- Material consumption
- Inventory
- Rejection and wastage
- Labour cost
- Factory overheads
- Product/customer profitability
- Working capital
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of management reports.
- Highlight key deviations and provide actionable recommendations.

1. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead preparation of annual budgets for sales, production, material, manpower, and overheads.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly forecasts.
- Conduct Budget vs Actual analysis.
- Identify significant variances and coordinate with department heads for corrective actions.

1. Inventory & Working Capital

- Monitor inventory levels and inventory ageing.
- Analyze slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
- Track RM, WIP, and finished-goods inventory.
- Monitor inventory valuation and stock provisions.
- Support working-capital optimization.

1. Plant & Production Analysis

- Work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, PPC, Quality, and Sales teams.
- Analyze machine utilization, capacity utilization, productivity, downtime, rejection, and wastage.
- Track conversion cost per unit and manufacturing efficiency.
- Identify operational inefficiencies affecting profitability.

Profitability Analysis

- Prepare product-wise, customer-wise, segment-wise, and plant-wise profitability.
- Analyze contribution margins.
- Identify loss-making products/customers.
- Support management in make-or-buy, pricing, outsourcing, and capacity-utilization decisions.

1. Systems & Process Improvement

- Establish standardized MIS and costing formats.
- Improve ERP/MIS reporting systems and data accuracy.
- Automate repetitive MIS reports using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or ERP tools.
- Develop controls to ensure reliability and consistency of master data.

1. Team Management

- Lead and mentor the MIS/Costing team.
- Define KPIs and review team performance.
- Ensure proper documentation and SOPs for costing and MIS processes.
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors whenever required.

- Accuracy and timeliness of monthly MIS.
- Accuracy of product costing.
- Reduction in material variance and production wastage.
- Improvement in gross/contribution margin.
- Budget vs actual variance control.
- Inventory reduction and improved inventory turnover.
- Timely identification of loss-making products/customers.
- Cost-saving initiatives implemented.
- Automation and reduction of manual reporting.

Qualification & Experience

Essential:

- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com / equivalent.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of costing, MIS, budgeting, variance analysis, and management accounting.
- Excellent command of Advanced Excel.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
