We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Architect to lead enterprise-scale data engineering and architecture initiatives.

Job Title: Microsoft Fabric Data Architect

Experience: 10+ Years

Work Mode: Remote

Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST

US Overlap: Candidate should be flexible to provide up to 4 hours of overlap with US EST hours.

Role Overview The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in Microsoft Fabric architecture, data engineering, Lakehouse/Warehouse design, partitioning strategies, and large-scale data pipeline orchestration.

The role involves working with complex enterprise data environments, driving data engineering teams, optimizing Fabric Capacity Unit (CU) utilization, and engaging directly with customers and global architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise Microsoft Fabric data architecture.
- Define and optimize data partitioning strategies.
- Determine when to use Fabric Lakehouse vs. Warehouse based on business and technical requirements.
- Design and manage data pipelines, including scheduling and synchronization strategies.
- Monitor and optimize Fabric Capacity Unit (CU) utilization.
- Design solutions for complex,



scheduled data extraction from 1,000+ databases.
- Drive data engineering requirements and provide technical direction to the development/data engineering team.
- Lead architecture and design discussions with customers.
- Participate in customer-facing discussions and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with other Architects and global teams for enterprise-wide deployments.
- Ensure scalable, reliable, and optimized data engineering solutions.

Preferred Qualification
- Microsoft Fabric Certified Architect certification preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and enterprise data architecture.
- Excellent customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
