Role Description The MEP Manager is a full-time on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design, coordination, and implementation across multiple building performance projects. Daily activities include leading MEP design reviews, coordinating with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring integration of MEP systems with energy modeling and compliance requirements. The role involves supervising plumbing and other building services layouts, managing technical documentation,



and supporting procurement decisions to align materials and systems with design specifications and project budgets.

The MEP Manager monitors project progress, resolves design and site coordination issues, and maintains adherence to local and international standards. This position also contributes to process improvements, mentoring team members, and supporting quality assurance in project delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong MEP Design and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) skills, with experience in building services engineering.
- Candidates should possess MEP Coordination skills, including interdisciplinary coordination with architectural, structural, and energy modeling teams.
- Candidates should possess Plumbing design and layout skills, with familiarity in relevant standards and best practices.
- Candidates should possess Procurement-related skills for MEP materials and equipment, including vendor evaluation and cost-conscious selection.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience managing MEP works for commercial, residential, or institutional buildings; exposure to international codes and standards is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and modeling outputs; proficiency with common MEP and CAD/BIM tools is an advantage.
- Solid project management, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an in office team environment.
