Operation induction/ cupola furnace for melting cast iron as per production requirements.
Prepare and charge raw materials (scrap,pig iron, ferro alloys, etc.) according to melting composition. .
Monitor furnace temperature and metal composition during melting.
Ensure proper salg removal and maintain molten metal quality before pouring.
Coordinate with moulding and pouring teams for timely metal supply.
Maintain accurate melting log sheets, temperature records, and charge reports.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines during melting and pouring. Inspect and maintain furnace lining and refractory condition.
Support quality control checks of molten metal (carbon, silicon,hardness, etc.).
Report any breakdowns, irregularities, or material shortages to the supervisor.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
