Role Description The Mechanical Drafter will be responsible for preparing accurate mechanical and engineering drawings for industrial systems and fabrication projects. This full time, on-site role is based in Pimpri Chinchwad and involves creating detailed layouts and assembly drawings using CAD software, supporting design engineers with modifications and revisions, and ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and specifications.



Day-to-day activities include interpreting technical requirements, updating drawing documentation, coordinating with design, production, and installation teams, and maintaining drawing files and records.

The Mechanical

Drafter will also assist in design reviews, contribute to continuous improvement of drafting practices, and support project timelines and quality requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Drawings and Engineering Drawings for industrial and fabrication projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Drawing capabilities, including dimensioning, tolerances, and reading complex schematics.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools used for 2D and 3D mechanical drafting.
- Candidates should possess foundational Design Engineering skills to collaborate effectively with design and project teams.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in industrial fabrication, material handling systems, or plant engineering is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow standards, and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
