- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, etc.)
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis.
- Work closely with manufacturing, electrical, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
- Review and revise existing designs to improve performance or reduce cost.
- Conduct design reviews and document all engineering changes. (For ISO Documents)
- Ensure that designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), design documentation, and product data management systems.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 45 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge)
- Knowledge of GD&T; and materials selection
- Familiarity with design standards.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Exposure to or experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) is a strong advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel for technical meetings, client discussions, and on-site support as required.
