Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in HT/LT Electrical Switchgear & Control Panel Design.

Key Responsibilities

- Design mechanical enclosures and internal structures for HT/LT switchgear panels (PCC, MCC, VCB, RMU, etc.).
- Create 2D AutoCAD fabrication, assembly & GA drawings.
- Prepare and manage BOMs for production and procurement.
- Ensure designs comply with IP ratings, electrical clearances and IEC 61439/IEC 62271 standards.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and improve production efficiency.




- Consider structural and thermal requirements such as ventilation and short-circuit withstand.

Key Skills:
- 2+ years of Mechanical Design experience in Electrical Switchgear/Control Panels.
- AutoCAD 2D – Mandatory; 3D is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of BOM & GA drawing preparation.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and material selection.
- Familiarity with relevant IEC standards.
