Matlab Engineer

Experience - 2+ years

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and validate vehicle energy flow and efficiency models in SiL environment
- Perform vehicle-level simulations focusing on powertrain and energy management
- Analyze and troubleshoot plant model and control software issues
- Support development of thermal management strategies for BEVs (refrigeration, heat pump systems, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and efficiency
- Work on MATLAB/Simulink-based modeling and simulation activities

Technical Skills Required

- Strong understanding of thermal management systems for automotive (BEV/HEV)
- Refrigeration, Heat Pump systems, Battery Thermal Management
- Good system-level knowledge of vehicle architecture (HEV & BEV)
- Hands-on experience in vehicle simulations – Powertrain domain
- Strong analytical skills for debugging plant models and control logic
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink environment
- Basic to intermediate programming/scripting skills (MATLAB / Python preferred)

Preferred Skills

- Experience in SiL (Software-in-Loop) setting
- Exposure to Model-Based Development (MBD)
- Understanding of efficiency optimization techniques
