Material Selection & Engineering
- Select appropriate metallic and non-metallic materials for project applications.
- Review process conditions and recommend suitable materials based on temperature, pressure, corrosion, and environmental factors.
- Prepare material selection reports and specifications.
- Evaluate material compatibility for piping, equipment, structures, and components.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor material specifications.
Corrosion Assessment & Mitigation
- Conduct corrosion studies and risk assessments.
- Identify corrosion mechanisms such as:
- General Corrosion
- Pitting Corrosion
- Crevice Corrosion
- Galvanic Corrosion
- Stress Corrosion Cracking
- Recommend corrosion prevention and mitigation measures.
- Develop corrosion management plans and asset integrity strategies.
Coating & Cathodic Protection
- Review coating and painting specifications.
