Material Master Specialist is responsible for the absolute accuracy, governance, and optimization of all Item Master data. This role ensures smooth data flow across the Stock, Buying, Selling, Manufacturing, and Asset Management modules. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of ERP SYSTEM's item configuration, document flows, and data import utilities.

Key Responsibilities of "Material Master Executive"

Data Architecture & Inventory Setup

· Item Master Governance: Create, update, and manage the full lifecycle of all physical, digital, and service items.

· Variant Configuration: Design and maintain Item Variants using specific Item Attributes (e.g., size, color, material) to minimize system clutter.

· Warehouse & Logistics: Map items to correct default warehouses, establish Reorder Levels, and manage unit of measure (UOM) conversion factors.

· Barcoding & Serialization: Link barcodes and configure specific tracking rules like Serial Numbers or Batch Numbers for batch-wise inventory tracking.

Cross-Module Integration

· Manufacturing Linkage: Configure default Bills of Materials (BOMs), operational workstations, and scrap percentages within the Item Master.

· Financial Alignment: Set correct default Income/Expense accounts, Asset categories, and Valuation Methods (FIFO or Moving Average) in collaboration with finance.

· Purchasing & Sales Controls: Define supplier codes, minimum order quantities,



and default item-tax templates for automated billing.

System Maintenance & Data Integrity

· Data Migration: Use the Data Import / Data Export tool to perform bulk updates and mass item uploads via CSV/Excel template cleanups.

· Data Auditing: Run stock ledger balance checks and inventory audits to catch duplicate items or orphaned SKUs.

· Permission Control: Collaborate with IT to manage user permission levels regarding item price visibility and modification rights.

Skills & Qualifications

· Experience: 3 to 5+ years managing master data, with at least 1 year of direct hands-on experience in ERP SYSTEM.

· Technical Proficiency: Expert understanding of ERP SYSTEM core concepts—specifically Item Groups, Item Attributes, Pricing Rules, and Stock Reconciliation.

· Analytical Mindset: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for heavy data sanitization before importing into the ERP SYSTEM.

Plus Skills:

- Familiarity with the Frappe Framework, creating custom fields, or writing basic script reports in ERP SYSTEM is highly preferred.
- Master Data Management certification is preferable.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor’s Degree / Postgraduate in any field.
- Knowledge of ERP System is preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
