- Role Description The Manufacturing Operations Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing daily production activities for paper bowls and lids. This role manages end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to quality standards and food-safety requirements.

We're a growing food-grade paper packaging manufacturer looking for an Operations Manager to run day-to-day coordination between our factory floor, vendors, and management.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Vendor Coordination
- Follow up with printers on job status, turnaround time, and print quality
- Manage and follow up with paper suppliers, coaters/slitters, and other raw material vendors on delivery schedules
- Escalate and resolve vendor delays proactively
- Coordinate production runs with the factory floor to avoid material shortages or overstocking
- Monitor machine uptime and flag maintenance needs to management
- Coordinate daily production targets with floor staff
Inventory & Dispatch
- Prepare and circulate daily stock updates (raw material and finished goods)
- Reconcile production output against dispatch and stock-on-hand
- Prepare delivery challans and coordinate dispatch schedules with clients
- Generate e-way bills for outstation shipments
Reporting
- Compile and send daily/weekly production, stock, and vendor status reports to management
- Maintain vendor and client communication logs
Certifications & Compliance
- Research food-safety and packaging certifications relevant to the business (e.g., FSSAI, BRCGS, ISO standards)
- Identify and contact certification consultants; gather quotes, timelines, and process requirements
- Prepare and present a summary to management on certification options, costs, and an implementation roadmap
- Track compliance checklist implementation on the factory floor
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, supply chain, or operations management
- 2–5 years' experience in manufacturing operations, ideally in packaging, FMCG, or paper/print industries
- Strong vendor follow-up and coordination skills
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for stock tracking and reporting
- Familiarity with dispatch documentation (delivery challans, e-way bills)
- Exposure to certification/compliance processes is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication; Kannada/Hindi proficiency preferred for floor coordination
