Team Lead Production Machining

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in production machining and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- CNC/VMC Programming & Operation: Write, test, and optimize CNC and VMC programs; manage independent handling and operation of robotic automation systems.
- Drawing & Design Verification: Interpret complex engineering drawings and utilize AutoCAD for drafting, design checks, and modifications.
- New Product Development (NPD) & Prove-Out: Lead part prove-outs against engineering drawings, supporting new product launches from setup to final approval.
- Process Knowledge & Maintenance: Oversee machining, grinding, and painting processes; troubleshoot and maintain fixtures, hydraulic systems, pneumatic units,



and tooling setups.
- Team Leadership & Communication: Lead, mentor, and coordinate daily floor operations while maintaining clear communication across cross-functional engineering and management teams.

Technical Skills:

- CNC/VMC Programming & Troubleshooting
- AutoCAD (2D Drafting & Interpretation)
- Engineering Drawing Reading & Interpretation
- Fixtures, Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Tooling Maintenance

- Robotic System Handling
- Quality Systems: IATF 16949 & Six Sigma methodologies
- Exposure to Grinding, Machining, and Painting processes
- Soft Skills: Solid technical problem-solving, team leadership, and communication skills.
