Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Linux Kernel & Device Driver Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Linux Kernel in Cdevelopment, device drivers, Embedded Linux, BSP, board bring-up, C programming, and storage technologies.
The ideal candidate should have experience working on Linux-based embedded platforms, kernel debugging, storage drivers, and ARM-based board bring-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, build, and debug the Linux Kernel.
- Analyze trace logs, kernel crash logs, and kernel issues.
- Develop and debug Linux Block Device Drivers.
- Work on the Linux Block Layer.
- Develop and maintain Linux BSPs and port boards.
- Work on Linux file systems such as EXT4 and F2FS.
- Work with Linux bootloaders including U-Boot and Fastboot.
- Perform board bring-up on ARM platforms using Android and Linux.
- Understand and debug Linux Kernel source code.
- Apply strong knowledge of Operating System concepts.
- Work with GNU Toolchain and Make system.
- Develop and debug software using C programming.
- Develop automation and utility scripts using Python, Perl or PowerShell.
- Debug and resolve issues related to embedded Linux platforms and storage components.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong C programming and debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience in Linux Kernel development.
- Experience in Linux Device Driver development.
- Experience with Embedded Linux.
- Experience in Linux BSP and Board Bring-up.
- Knowledge of Linux Block Layer / Block Device Drivers.
- Experience with ARM-based platforms.
- Knowledge of Linux Kernel source code.
- Experience with U-Boot / Fastboot.
- Positive understanding of OS concepts.

- Linux EXT4 / F2FS file systems.
- Flash Translation Layer (FTL) concepts.
- Linux NAND / MMC device drivers.
- Linux SCSI device drivers.
- Linux UFS device drivers.
- NAND firmware development.
