Big Ladder is a UK digital marketing agency looking for a Link Building Executive Intern to join our SEO team and support off-page SEO activities across our client accounts.

This is a 6-month internship designed for someone at the beginning of their SEO or digital marketing career. You will work remotely alongside our senior SEO team, receive full training and guidance, and gain hands-on experience working on real UK client campaigns.

You will be given the strategy, target sites and daily targets. Your role will be to execute consistently, maintain accurate records and build a strong foundation in off-page SEO.

What you will do

- Build and submit business listings, local citations and directory profiles for client accounts
- Place links on approved websites and platforms provided by the SEO team
- Ensure business name, address and phone details remain consistent and accurate across listings
- Analyse competitor backlink profiles to identify potential link-building opportunities
- Maintain a live tracker of submissions, links placed and indexing status
- Monitor and follow up on pending submissions and placements
- Report weekly on links built, live, indexed and pending
- Follow SEO processes, guidelines and daily targets set by the senior SEO team

What we are looking for

- Graduate with at least 1 year of exposure to SEO, digital marketing or a related field




- Good written English, as you will be working with listings and profiles for UK businesses
- Organised and comfortable working with spreadsheets and trackers every day
- Able to handle repetitive, high-volume tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Consistent, reliable and comfortable working towards daily targets
- Willingness to learn and develop practical SEO skills
- Reliable internet connection and a working laptop, as this is a fully remote internship
