The role involves understanding customers' financial protection and long-term savings needs and recommending suitable life insurance solutions. A Life Planner works closely with customers, builds relationships, explains insurance products, follows up with prospects, and helps customers complete the policy-buying process.

Key Responsibilities - Identify and develop prospective customers through referrals, personal networks, leads, and other permitted sources.

- Contact potential customers and understand their financial protection and investment requirements.
- Explain HDFC Life insurance products, advantages, policy features, premiums, and terms clearly.
- Recommend suitable products based on the customer's stated needs and eligibility.
- Arrange and conduct customer meetings, either in person or through permitted digital channels.
- Generate new business and work toward assigned sales targets.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and existing customers.
- Assist customers with the documentation and application process.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and provide appropriate post-sales support.
- Keep customer information and sales records updated.
- Follow HDFC Life's prescribed sales processes, compliance requirements, and ethical standards.
- Participate in training and product-learning programs to improve insurance and financial-product knowledge.
