Learning & Development Manager

At OSCAR Foundation, we use football as a tool for social change - helping children stay in school, build life skills and develop the confidence to create better futures.

We are looking for an L&D; Manager who can strengthen how our teams learn, facilitate and deliver this work on the ground.

This is a role for someone who understands that great training is not just about delivering a workshop - it is about building capability that creates lasting behaviour change.

What will you own?

You will lead OSCAR's Learning & Development function, working closely with programme teams, coaches and leadership.

Your role will include

- Design and deliver training for coaches and programme teams across OSCAR.
- Develop and strengthen learning programmes around life skills, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), youth development and Sports for Development.
- Continuously review and upgrade the curriculum to keep it contemporary, relevant and grounded in current practices.
- Translate programme needs into practical learning interventions, tools and resources.
- Build facilitator guides, training content, exercises and other learning materials.
- Support coaches and teams in applying learning effectively in their day-to-day work.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and use feedback,



observations and programme insights to improve learning interventions.
- Build a culture of continuous learning across the organisation.

- What are we looking for?

- 6+ years of experience in Learning & Development, training, facilitation, curriculum development or a related field.
- Strong experience in content and curriculum development, with excellent writing skills.
- Understanding of life skills, Social-Emotional Learning and youth development.
- Strong facilitation and trainer-development capability.
- Ability to design learning that is practical, engaging and relevant to the audience.
- Experience managing an L&D; function or owning organisation-wide learning initiatives.
- Sports experience is preferred, particularly football.
- Prior experience in Sports for Development or the social-impact sector will be an advantage.
- Strong ownership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Compensation: ₹50,000-₹70,000 per month, based on experience
