Role & responsibilities

1. Define MEP design standards, performance specifications and review checklists for building services and engineering systems.
2. Review design basis reports, load calculations, schematics, layouts, equipment selections and GFC packages for completeness and compliance.
3. Ensure coordination of MEP with Architecture, Structure, Facade and BIM teams to eliminate clashes and access/maintenance issues.
4. Validate statutory and authority compliance for fire, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related engineering systems.
5. Support value engineering and system optimization with quantified impacts on capex, energy, maintenance and performance.
6. Review critical shop drawings, material submittals, deviations and commissioning plans before execution and handover.
7. Support consultant and vendor evaluations for technical capability, solution suitability and lifecycle performance.
8. Maintain MEP design risk register, lessons learnt and MIS on reviews, non-conformances and closure actions.
