About the Role The Lead Integration Engineer provides technical support for WDTS User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and development environments. This role directly supports the Las Vegas Integration Engineer by diagnosing software, hardware, server, network, configuration, and integration issues; coordinating Development involvement; and ensuring that technical work is clearly documented and followed through.
The engineer serves as the primary coordination point between the Las Vegas Integration Engineer, Development, Product, and other technical teams. This role helps ensure that issues are reproduced accurately, remote troubleshooting is organized effectively, and the Las Vegas team receives complete technical evidence, clear ownership, and actionable
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
· Provide direct technical support to the Las Vegas Integration Engineer for UAT and development environments.
· Coordinate Development involvement for issues requiring application changes, environment changes, or specialized technical support.
· Diagnose issues involving application software, deployment configuration, containers, databases, servers, networking, integrations, and hardware.
· Collect and analyze application, deployment, container, Kubernetes, database, and system logs before requesting Development involvement.
· Reproduce issues in representative India-based UAT or development environments when possible.
· Deploy and validate frontend and backend applications, database scripts, schema updates, Application Programming
· Interfaces (APIs), connection strings, certificates, and environment-specific configurations.
· Perform health checks and smoke testing after installations, upgrades, fixes, and configuration changes.
· Provide Development teams with clear reproduction steps, setting details, build versions, logs, timestamps, impact, and supporting evidence.
· Coordinate remote troubleshooting sessions between the Las Vegas Integration Engineer, Development, Product, and other technical teams.
· Track all actions performed during remote sessions, including commands, scripts, files, configurations, versions, results,
decisions, and rollback steps.
· Maintain accurate Jira issues, Confluence documentation, environment records, change histories, and follow-up actions.
· Prepare and validate deployment artifacts, configuration changes, scripts, and upgrade procedures before they are used in Las Vegas.
· Support representative hardware and software configurations used for issue reproduction, integration testing, and remote qualification.
· Assist with hardware and software testing, defined validation procedures, documentation, and escalating issues as needed.
· Provide clear handoffs covering completed work, unresolved issues, owners, blockers, decisions needed, and next actions.
· Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to deployment automation, documentation, monitoring, and environment standards.
· Maintain disciplined change control and avoid unapproved changes to Las Vegas environments.
· Support scheduled off-hours work when needed to coordinate with the Las Vegas Integration Engineer and Development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Key Competencies
· Five or more years of experience in application support, DevOps, software deployment, systems integration, development
· infrastructure, or UAT support.
· Experience working directly with software developers to diagnose and resolve environment or application issues.
· Hands-on experience with Linux, networking, virtual machines, containers, databases, application logs, or deployment
· automation.
· Experience documenting technical work and coordinating troubleshooting across teams or time zones.
