Role Description

We are seeking an experienced .NET Engineer who can independently drive application modernization initiatives and address technical debt across enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in contemporary .NET technologies and hands-on experience with repository migrations, build and deployment pipelines, remediation of security vulnerabilities, framework upgrades, and replacement of obsolete components.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical debt remediation initiatives across .NET applications.

Perform repository migrations, codebase modernization, and platform upgrades.

Upgrade legacy applications from .NET Framework to modern .NET versions where applicable.

Identify and replace obsolete libraries, components, and unsupported dependencies. Address security vulnerabilities identified through security scans and audits.

Manage and improve build, release, and deployment pipelines. Develop, enhance, and maintain REST APIs and backend services. Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and architectural guidelines.

Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.

- Experience with financial services or enterprise-scale applications
- Experience 6+ years of experience in .NET application development.
- Demonstrated experience handling application modernization, technical debt reduction, and security remediation initiatives.
- Proven ability to work independently and drive technical solutions end-to-end.
- Key Requirement: The candidate should be capable of independently owning technical debt workstreams, including repository migration, build/deployment setup, framework upgrades, replacement of obsolete components, and remediation of security vulnerabilities while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
