- Operate and set up lathe machines for turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, grooving, and other machining operations.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, chucks, and fixtures.
- Set machine speeds, feeds, and cutting depths according to the material and job requirements.
- Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Inspect components during and after machining and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacement.
- Identify machining defects and make necessary adjustments to machine settings.
- Maintain production records and follow production schedules.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Keep the work area, machines, and tools clean and organized.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
