Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer with strong expertise in Juniper Mist wireless solutions to support enterprise campus and branch environments. The role includes advanced WLAN troubleshooting, design validation, cloud-managed operations, RF optimization, NAC integration, automation, and major-incident leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Juniper Mist Wireless - Primary

Administer and troubleshoot Juniper Mist cloud, organizations, sites, templates, WLANs, APs, switches, and edge components.

Resolve complex client connectivity, authentication, roaming, DHCP, DNS, latency, packet loss, coverage, and application-experience issues.

Use Marvis, service-level expectations, insights, events, packet captures, and client timelines for fault isolation and proactive assurance.

Configure and optimize SSIDs, security profiles, RF settings, radio resource management, band steering, VLANs, QoS, and guest access.

Plan AP deployments, replacements, code upgrades, maintenance activities, site migrations, and post-change validation.

Perform RF analysis, coverage and capacity review, interference troubleshooting, channel and power optimization, and high-density tuning.

Integrate Mist with NAC, identity, location, switching, WAN, monitoring, logging, and ITSM platforms.

Use Mist APIs and automation tools for configuration, inventory, compliance, reporting, and operational workflows.

Operations, Governance & Technical Leadership

Own or support P1/P2 major incidents, participate in technical bridge calls, and provide timely stakeholder updates.

Execute incident, service request, change, problem, and configuration management activities in line with ITIL practices.

Prepare implementation plans, rollback procedures, risk assessments, validation reports, SOPs, and knowledge articles.





Engage OEM support and technology vendors for complex defects, software issues, and product escalations.

Monitor service health, capacity, availability, performance, and recurring trends; recommend continuous improvement actions.

Mentor L1/L2 engineers, conduct technical reviews, and support transitions, audits, projects, and operational readiness.

Security Firewalls, PKI, EAP, TLS Support secure WLAN design, certificates, authentication methods, segmentation, and traffic policies.

Automation Mist APIs, Python, Terraform, Ansible Automate provisioning, templates, inventory, compliance, reporting, and operational tasks.

Required Qualifications & Experience 8-12+ years of networking experience, including at least 5 years of enterprise wireless support and engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with Juniper Mist cloud-managed wireless and advanced WLAN troubleshooting.

Deep understanding of 802.11 standards, RF fundamentals, roaming, WLAN security, 802.1X, RADIUS, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and QoS.

Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site, high-density,



or business-critical wireless environments.

Working knowledge of campus switching, NAC, PKI, automation, APIs, monitoring, and ITIL processes.

Bachelor degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.

Preferred Certifications Juniper Mist AI certification or equivalent Juniper wireless accreditation.

JNCIP-ENT, CWNP-level certification, Aruba professional certification, or CCNP Enterprise is advantageous.

ClearPass, Cisco ISE, cloud, automation, or ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.

Selection Focus: Candidates must demonstrate strong hands-on Juniper Mist and RF troubleshooting skills. NAC integration, campus switching, and wireless automation experience are significant advantages.
