ReCloud Consulting is hiring a Junior Architect on behalf of its client, Vedha Design Studio, a growing architecture and interior-design firm in Chennai.

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Role Overview The selected candidate will assist senior architects with design development, construction drawings, consultant coordination, and project delivery from concept through execution. The role offers hands-on exposure to residential, commercial, and interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with architectural concepts and design proposals.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, construction drawings, and detailed drawings.
- Develop 3D models and presentation materials.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other project consultants.
- Prepare documentation required for approvals and construction.
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and maintain the intended design.
- Support material selection and specification preparation.
- Revise drawings based on client and senior-architect feedback.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and regulations.
- Maintain organised project documentation and drawing records.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor of Architecture degree.




- 0-2 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, D5, Lumion, or similar 3D software.
- Understanding of architectural detailing and construction methods.
- Basic knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Strong design, visualisation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail, time-management ability, and collaborative working style.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign would be advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous internship experience with an architectural firm.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows.
- Knowledge of sustainable-design principles.
