Role Description The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations in a full-time, on-site role based in Karawal Nagar. Typical tasks include recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing basic financial reports, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. The role also involves reconciling bank statements, managing invoices, tracking expenses, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Accountant will collaborate with management to ensure accurate financial documentation, compliance with relevant accounting standards, and timely reporting.



This position offers exposure to accounting for a retail and product-focused environment, with opportunities to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and basic financial statements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP software; ability to manage data accurately and efficiently.
- Attention to detail, good numerical aptitude, and strong organizational skills for handling invoices, receipts, and financial records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Karawal Nagar, manage time well, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced startup setting.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field preferred; internship or prior entry-level experience in accounting is an advantage.
