Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Mumbai.

The Junior

Accountant will support daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. The role involves preparing and reviewing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

organizing financial documents, and supporting internal and external audits. Collaboration with senior finance team members to ensure accurate reporting, compliance with relevant regulations, and timely completion of financial tasks is expected.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills to support risk management and financial decision-making.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant internships or junior accounting experience are an advantage.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and interest in ethical, sustainability-focused business practices in trading or financial services.
