About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership, solve complex engineering challenges, and drive engineering excellence across teams.

As a Principal Engineer, you will act as a technical catalyst , partnering with engineering and product teams to raise technical standards, strengthen engineering practices, and continuously improve product quality, performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on software design, development, quality, security, and engineering best practices .
- Drive the adoption of high-quality, secure, maintainable, and scalable coding practices.
- Leverage strong hands-on expertise in C++, Python, or Java to solve complex technical challenges.




- Support teams in diagnosing and resolving complex engineering, performance, scalability, and system-level issues .
- Influence technical decisions and provide direction on challenging engineering problems.

Engineering Excellence & Quality
- Drive initiatives focused on improving software quality, performance, reliability, and security .
- Promote shift-left testing , early defect identification, proactive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct technical training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions on code quality, vulnerabilities, security, and engineering practices .
- Identify technical risks and help teams establish effective mitigation strategies.
- Encourage adoption of engineering tools, methodologies, automation, and industry best practices.

Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes, engineering standards, and delivery practices.
- Champion initiatives that reduce technical debt and improve maintainability, scalability, and operational efficiency .
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and assess their relevance to engineering practices.
- Facilitate the adoption of new tools, technologies, and practices that create measurable engineering impact.

Collaboration & Influence
- Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, security, and other cross-functional teams.
- Mentor engineers and help build a culture of technical excellence, ownership, collaboration,



and continuous learning .
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions, presentations, and knowledge-sharing forums.
- Influence teams and stakeholders without relying solely on formal authority.
