Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining and monitoring inventory, ownership, lifecycle, and compliance records of IT infrastructure assets, including Servers, Windows, Linux, Database, and Security assets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain accurate inventory of physical and virtual Servers, Windows/Linux systems, Databases, and Security assets.

- Ensure timely updates of asset details such as hostname, IP address, OS, database, owner, location, setting, and asset status.

- Perform regular asset reconciliation, validation, and inventory audits.

- Track asset lifecycle activities include deployment, allocation, transfer, upgrade, replacement, decommissioning, and disposal.

- Monitor and maintain asset records in CMDB / ITAM tools.

- Coordinate with Server, Windows, Linux, Database, Network, and Security teams for asset validation and updates.

- Identify and report missing, duplicate, inactive, or non-compliant assets.

- Support onboarding, decommissioning, and infrastructure change activities from an asset-management perspective.

- Prepare periodic asset inventory, compliance, reconciliation, and management reports.

- Ensure adherence to ITAM,



security, audit, and organizational policies.

- Required Skills

- Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure and Asset Management.

- Knowledge of Windows and Linux Servers.

- Basic understanding of Database technologies and Security infrastructure.

- Working knowledge of Excel and asset/CMDB tools.

- Good analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.

Technical Skills/Knowledge Requirement

Required Skills

- Knowledge of Windows and Linux Servers.

- Basic understanding of Database technologies and Security infrastructure.

- Working knowledge of MS Excel and asset/CMDB tools.

- Good analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.

- Ability to work with multiple technical teams and follow defined processes.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of ServiceNow / CMDB / ITAM tools.

- Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
