Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and eager-to-learn WordPress/CMS Intern to join our team on a 3-month internship, with a clear pathway to a full-time role based on performance and business requirements.

This role is focused on WordPress CMS administration — publishing and maintaining website content, keeping pages and blogs updated, and supporting the quality and structure of our web properties. It's a great starting point for someone who wants hands-on experience with real websites and a foundation in web fundamentals like HTML and CSS.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Publishing & CMS Administration

- Perform day-to-day CMS administration tasks within WordPress, including page/blog creation and formatting content for publication.
- Handle media upload of images, documents, and other assets, ensuring files are optimized and properly organized.
- Maintain consistency in layout, formatting, and style across published pages and posts.
- Support ongoing website maintenance, including content updates, minor edits, and routine housekeeping tasks.

Quality Assurance & Testing
- Conduct cross-device QA to confirm pages display and function correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Perform broken link testing across the website and coordinate fixes for any issues found.
- Carry out general content QA, checking for typos, formatting errors,



broken layouts, and inconsistencies before and after publishing.
- Review and help maintain navigation/menu structure to ensure the site stays organized and easy to navigate.

SEO & On-Page Optimization
- Apply SEO basics to published content, including keyword-aware titles and headings.
- Write and update meta descriptions for pages and posts.
- Add and maintain alt tags for images to support accessibility and search visibility.
- Support internal linking between related pages and blog posts to improve site structure and user navigation.

Technical Support
- Use basic HTML and CSS to make small formatting adjustments within the CMS as needed.
- Assist with troubleshooting minor content or display issues, escalating technical problems where appropriate.

Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to publish content accurately and on schedule.
- Communicate progress, questions, and blockers clearly with your team.
- Stay curious and proactive about learning more of the WordPress ecosystem over time.

Required Skills
- Basic understanding of WordPress and general CMS administration concepts.
- Comfort with page/blog creation and formatting content within a CMS environment.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- An eye for detail,



especially for content QA and spotting inconsistencies.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and take feedback in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with SEO basics, including meta descriptions, alt tags, and internal linking.
- Prior exposure to broken link testing or cross-device QA processes.
- Basic understanding of navigation/menu structure and information architecture.
- Any personal projects, coursework, or portfolio involving WordPress or website content management.

Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Web Development, or a related field.
- 0–1 years of experience; freshers and students are encouraged to apply.
- Equivalent self-taught experience, certifications, or bootcamp training will also be considered.
