Role Overview

We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented Interior Designer to bridge design intent and on-site execution. You will handle client briefs, produce 2D layouts and 3D renders, select materials, and coordinate closely with contractors, carpenters, and vendors to ensure projects are executed accurately on site.

Key Responsibilities

- Concept & Layouts: Develop 2D space plans, furniture layouts, electrical/plumbing drawings, and false ceiling designs using AutoCAD.
- 3D Visualizations: Create photorealistic 3D perspectives and walkthroughs using SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Lumion.
- Material Sourcing & BOQ: Select laminates, veneers, hardware, tiles, and fabrics. Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and material estimate sheets.
- Site Coordination: Conduct regular site visits to supervise carpenters, painters, and civil teams. Verify that in office execution strictly matches technical drawings and tolerances.




- Client Handling: Present mood boards, finishes, and revisions directly to clients, setting clear expectations on timelines and execution limits.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven interior design experience, with direct exposure to site execution and turnkey/contracting workflows.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max (with V-Ray/Corona), and Photoshop. MS Excel skills for basic BOQ management.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of joinery details, modular vs. site-built carpentry, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) basics, and Indian building materials.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with high-end clients and manage regional site supervisors, thekedars, and vendors on the ground.
