We are seeking an experienced
Aveva E3D Administrator to join our engineering team on a contract basis. Reporting to the Aveva Administrator Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for administering 3D model execution tasks and maintaining the integrity of the project database throughout the project lifecycle with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up Aveva E3D Project Libraries, Project Folders, PML Libraries, and common server configurations.
- Initialize and configure Aveva E3D/PDMS Global Projects at Hub &
- Satellite level as a Global Administrator.
- Create and administer Aveva E3D Projects, Users, Teams, Catalogs, Databases, MDBs, Roles, Scopes, and ACRs (Access Control Rights).
- Administer Aveva E3D Catalogues and Specifications through the Catalogue module.
- Customize UDAs using the Aveva E3D Lexicon module.
- Support E3D multi-disciplinary supports customization.
- Manage 2D Draft Administration across all disciplines using the E3D Draw module.
- Administer Isodraft for isometric deliverables.
- Interact directly with users and discipline leads to understand, document, and address project design requirements and special needs.
- Interface with Piping Managers, Piping Stress Engineers, Inter-discipline Engineers &
- Designers, Quality Teams, and Project Engineers.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Compliance with project design and customer requirements.
- Contribution to establishing an effective and efficient design/drafting team.
- Ability to perform with high energy and flexibility under tight deadlines.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Diploma in Engineering accepted.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of professional hands-on experience as an Aveva E3D Administrator (not purely design/modeling profiles).
- Demonstrated experience with Aveva E3D/PDMS Global Project setup at Hub &
- Satellite level.
- Proven experience administering Catalogues, Specifications, MDBs, ACRs, Roles, Scopes, and UDAs.
- Experience with E3D multi-disciplinary supports customization.
- Familiarity with 2D Draft Administration (E3D Draw module) and Isodraft Administration.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Aveva E3D Administration principles and workflows.
- Good understanding of Detailed Engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with International Codes and Standards applicable to engineering design.
