Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform spray painting of automobile components using a spray gun.
- Prepare components by cleaning, degreasing, sanding and masking before painting.
- Mix paint, thinner and other materials as per specified ratios.
- Operate and maintain spray guns, air compressors and painting equipment.
- Ensure uniform paint thickness, colour and surface finish.
- Inspect painted components for defects such as runs, sagging, pinholes, uneven coating and colour mismatch.
- Carry out touch-up and rework wherever required.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.




- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the paint shop.
- Follow PPE, safety and environmental procedures while handling paints and chemicals.
- Maintain proper records of paint consumption and production/rejection.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to resolve painting-related issues.

Skills Required

- Experience in spray/gun painting, preferably in an automobile or engineering manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of spray-gun operation and paint mixing.
- Understanding of surface preparation and paint finishing.
- Ability to identify basic painting defects.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and PPE.
- Valuable hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
