The Human Resources and General Affairs (HRGA) Senior Executive/Assistant Manager role supports a broad range of HR, talent acquisition, office administration, facility management, and business travel activities. Working on site, the position helps maintain effective people practices and efficient office operations within a retail setting.
Responsibilities
- General Human Resources & Talent Acquisition
- Assist in implementing and administering HR policies, procedures, and practices while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and applicable labour laws
- Support workforce planning and recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and hiring processes
- Manage onboarding activities to provide a smooth and positive experience for new joiners
- Monitor recruitment progress and maintain recruitment trackers to support timely hiring
- Prepare and analyse HR reports and metrics covering headcount, attrition, recruitment, attendance, and other HR indicators
- Support performance management processes, including key performance indicator tracking and review cycle coordination
- Assist with employee engagement and communication initiatives
- Support employee relations matters and respond to employee queries in coordination with the HR team
- Maintain employee records and HR databases accurately and confidentially
- Participate in HR projects, process improvements, and HR system initiatives
- Coordinate training and development activities and maintain related records
- Office Administration & Facility Management
- Manage facility upkeep, security, and office infrastructure
- Manage the procurement of office equipment, stationery, and maintenance services
- Supervise housekeeping staff and office vendors
- Manage the front office and maintain a professional and welcoming environment
- Travel Management & Administration
- Coordinate end-to-end arrangements for domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, transport, and visas
- Manage travel itineraries, including last-minute changes for production or marketing teams
- Ensure travel bookings comply with company policies and budget restrictions
- Manage relationships with travel agencies and negotiate corporate rates
- Handle visa processing, invitation letters, and no-objection certificate issuance for international travel
Requirements
- 3–4 years of HRGA experience implementing HR policies, programmes, and initiatives aligned with organisational goals and objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using travel booking systems and enterprise resource planning software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing environments and business needs
- Experience in the retail industry, preferably within fashion, apparel, footwear, or cosmetics
