About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, people-oriented and proactive HR Manager to lead and strengthen the organisations HR function.
The role is primarily focused on recruitment, employee engagement, people management and building a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will work closely with management and employees to ensure the organisation attracts the right talent, supports employee performance and development, and maintains a healthy and positive work environment.
This is a hands-on HR role for someone who enjoys working closely with people, taking ownership of HR activities and contributing directly to the organisations growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across different functions and levels.
- Understand manpower requirements from department heads and management.
- Source candidates through job portals, professional networks, references and other recruitment channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate discussions.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates.
- Follow up with selected candidates through the offer and joining process.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular updates on hiring status.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for current and future requirements.
2. Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture
- Build positive relationships with employees across different teams.
- Create a supportive, energetic and employee-friendly work environment.
- Identify employee concerns and facilitate appropriate discussions with management.
- Organise employee engagement activities, team interactions and internal initiatives.
- Encourage open communication and a positive approach to workplace challenges.
- Contribute towards strengthening employee morale, motivation and team spirit.
3. Employee Relations & People Management
- Act as a point of contact for employees for day-to-day HR-related matters.
- Support employees and managers in resolving workplace issues professionally and fairly.
- Maintain effective communication between management and employees.
- Understand employee needs and provide appropriate HR support.
- Promote professional behaviour, accountability and teamwork within the organisation.
4. Performance & Development
- Support the implementation and monitoring of employee performance processes.
- Coordinate performance reviews and maintain relevant records.
- Work with managers to identify employee development needs.
- Support training, learning and development initiatives.
- Encourage continuous improvement and professional growth among employees.
5. HR Operations
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Coordinate attendance, leave and other routine HR processes.
- Ensure timely completion of HR-related documentation and internal records.
- Support management in implementing HR policies and processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organisational information.
6. HR Planning & Management Support
- Work closely with management on current and future manpower requirements.
- Provide HR-related insights and updates to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve employee experience and HR processes.
- Support organisational initiatives related to people, culture and performance.
- Take ownership of assigned HR projects and ensure timely execution.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be:

- Solid in follow-up, execution and maintaining HR records.
- Business-focused while maintaining an employee-centric approach.
- Mature and professional in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- 4-10 years of relevant HR experience.
- Graduate/Postgraduate qualification in HR, Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
- Strong experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Experience in employee engagement and employee relations.
- Experience in Tourism, Travel, Hospitality or other service-oriented industries will be an added advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and HR/recruitment tools.
Languages
- Hindi Mandatory
- Malayalam Preferred
- Good communication skills in English are expected.
