The HR Associate will play a critical role in managing end-to-end human resource functions including recruitment, induction, policy design, performance management, and learning & development.
The role is essential to structuring and institutionalising HR systems that will support the foundations growing team and long-term ambitions while fostering an inclusive and people-first workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment
- Develop and implement a recruitment marketing plan to engage with diverse talent pools.
- Ensure all recruitment processes adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Track recruitment metrics including applications received, time-to-fill, vacancy fill rate, and candidate experience.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates.
2. Induction
- Design and implement a comprehensive induction process for new hires.
- Collect onboarding feedback to improve the induction experience.
- Monitor probation completion and employee transition to permanent roles.
3. HR Policies & Processes
- Lead quarterly reviews and updates of HR policies.
- Organise staff training sessions to ensure policy awareness and compliance.
4. KRAs & KPIs
- Collaborate with department leads to define role-specific KRAs and KPIs.
- Ensure performance expectations are documented and communicated.
5. Performance Management
- Support the COO in implementing the organisations performance management system.
- Facilitate regular performance reviews and track goal achievement across teams.
6. Talent Retention
- Monitor employee retention trends and identify engagement risks.
- Plan and execute team-building and employee engagement initiatives.
7. Learning & Development
- Coordinate internal and external learning opportunities for staff.
- Track participation and utilisation of the learning and development budget.
Skills and Knowledge
- Solid understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and learning & development processes.
- Familiarity with Indian labour laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
