Position: Head of Department (HOD) – IT

Location: Sikar, Rajasthan

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring effective academic and operational functioning.
- Develop and implement the IT curriculum in alignment with CBSE guidelines and school objectives.
- Plan and monitor lesson delivery, assessments, projects, and practical activities.
- Guide and mentor IT/Computer Science teachers to improve teaching effectiveness.
- Monitor students' academic progress and ensure achievement of learning outcomes.
- Promote coding, programming, computational thinking, AI, robotics, and emerging technologies.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, computer labs, smart classrooms, networks, and digital resources.
- Ensure proper implementation and usage of educational technology across the school.
- Coordinate with school leadership for technology-related planning, budgeting, procurement, and upgrades.
- Ensure data security, cybersecurity awareness, system access, and responsible use of technology.
- Organize technology-related competitions, workshops,



exhibitions, and student projects.
- Maintain departmental records, reports, inventory, and documentation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend cutting-edge solutions for teaching and school operations.

Eligibility & Skills
- Qualification: B.Tech./B.E./MCA/M.Sc. IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
- Relevant teaching and departmental leadership experience will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, software, and educational technology.
- Knowledge of AI, coding, programming, robotics, and emerging technologies is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
- Ability to mentor teachers and drive technology-enabled learning.
- Proficiency in digital tools, Google Workspace/MS Office, and school management systems.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
