NWe are seeking a dedicated and analytical SAP Focused Run (FRUN) and Solution Manager Consultant to

Nmanage, configure, and optimize our SAP monitoring and system management landscape. In this role,

Nyou will be responsible for end-to-end Alert Monitoring, System Monitoring, Integration Monitoring, and

NTechnical Analytics usingSAP Focused Run and SAP Solution Manager 7.2. You will serve as a core

Ntechnical SME ensuring high system availability, rapid incident resolution, and proactive health tracking

Nacross hybrid SAP landscapes.

NKey Responsibilities:

N● Configure and maintain key FRUN application areas, including System Monitoring (SysMon),

NIntegration & User Monitoring (IUM), Real-Time Integration Monitoring, and Root Cause Analysis

N(RCA).

- Onboard recent SAP systems, databases, and hosts into SAP Focused Run.
N
- Install, configure, andmaintain Simple Diagnostics Agents (SDA) across managed systems.
N
- Set up custom thresholds, notification templates, and automated metric management in FRUN.
N
- Manage Technical Monitoring templates, metric settings, and alert rules in SolMan 7.2.
N
- Perform regular housekeeping, patching, and maintenance of the Solution Manager/FRUN
N

nlandscapes.

n● Analyze performance metrics (CPU, Memory, DB growth, long-running jobs, lock entries,

Nexpensive SQL statements)and create proactive health checks.

N● Develop custom dashboards and reports in FRUN / SolMan to provide key stakeholders with

Nsystem visibility.

n● Collaborate with SAP Basis, Database, and Infrastructure teams to fine-tune monitoring settings

Nand eliminate alert fatigue / false positives.

NQualifications & Skills:

N● Experience:



3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis / Solution Manager / Focused Run

Nadministration.

n●SAP Focused Run (FRUN): Solid practical exposure to FRUN architecture, Simple Diagnostics

NAgents (SDA), System Monitoring, and Integration Monitoring.

N● SAP Solution Manager 7.2: Expertise in Technical Monitoring (SolMan Setup), Alert Inbox

Nconfiguration, Notification Management, and Solution Documentation/Landscape setup (LMDB /

NSLD).

n● SAP BasisFundamentals: Good understanding of SAP architecture (NetWeaver, S/4HANA, Suite

Non HANA), DB management (SAP HANA, Sybase, Oracle), OS (Linux/Unix, Windows), and basic

Ntransport management.

n● Incident & Ticket Flow: Hands-on experience with incident management workflows, alert

Nrouting, and ITIL processfundamentals.

N● Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, preventative mindset rather

Nthan just reactive firefighting.

N● Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical issues and metrics to both technical teams

Nand business stakeholders.

- Ownership: High degree of accountability to manage critical alerts and ensure SLA adherence.

- Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.

nGood to have skills:

- Certification in SAP Solution Manager or SAP Focused Run.

- Experience with SAP Cloud ALM

- Exposure to cloud/hybrid SAP deployments (SAP BTP, RISE with SAP, Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Automation or scriptingskills (Shell scripting, Python) for routine task execution.
