Position Overview The role will lead external engagement, strategic project execution, state government partnerships, and revenue development. This role acts as a bridge between high-level economic policy priorities and practical execution. Working alongside policy and research teams, you will drive state-level reforms, build multi-stakeholder partnerships, and ensure the financial sustainability and growth of the department’s portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- State Engagement &
- Reform Implementation:

Design and execute structured engagement programs with state governments, focusing on state industrial policies, economic competitiveness, and cross-state best practice sharing.

- Business Development &

- Project Acquisition:

Identify, secure, and manage externally funded strategic projects with Central/State Governments, multilateral/bilateral bodies, foundations, and industry partners.

- Financial Management &

- P&L; Ownership:

Take ownership of the department's financial targets by building recurring revenue streams, managing project budgets, and scaling flagship economic platforms.

- Institutional Partnerships:

Establish long-term cooperative initiatives with international organizations (e.g., World Bank, IFC, IMF), government ministries, and think tanks.

- Leadership &

- Briefing Support:





Deliver rapid-response briefing papers, talking points, and analytical notes on emerging policy issues for senior organizational leadership.

- Flagship Initiatives:

Conceptualize and anchor major policy platforms and forums that align high-impact policy discussions with commercial viability.

Qualifications &

- Key Requirements

- Education:

Postgraduate degree or higher in Economics, Public Policy, Management, Public Administration, or related disciplines.

- Experience:

16–20 years of experience across public policy, government affairs, business development, consulting, or project development.

- Business Acumen &
- P&L;:

Proven ability to manage budgets, secure project funding, and scale revenue streams.

- Stakeholder Management:

Experience engaging with senior government officials, multilateral bodies, and industry leaders.

- Public Policy &

- Economics:

Deep understanding of the Indian economy, state-level policies, and government-industry interfaces.

- Communication:

Exceptional drafting capabilities for high-level briefs, project proposals, and strategic notes.

- Modern Productivity Tools:

High proficiency in leveraging digital and AI-enabled tools for research, drafting, and workflow management
