Role Description This is a full time, on-site Hardware Developer role based in Vadodara.
The Hardware
Developer will design, develop, and test electronic hardware for home automation products, including circuit design and PCB development.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into hardware specifications, performing component selection, and optimizing designs for reliability, safety, and cost. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues, supporting prototyping and production, and working closely with manufacturing to ensure quality and scalability.
The Hardware
Developer will also contribute to documentation, compliance with relevant standards, and continuous improvement of existing product lines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Development and practical implementation of embedded and IoT-based systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Circuit Design skills, including schematic creation, PCB design, and basic debugging.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering, with an understanding of safety, standards, and power distribution.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Electronics, including analog and digital circuitry, sensors, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces.
- Candidates should possess experience or exposure to Power Electronics, including power supplies, converters, and protection circuits.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to read datasheets, use hardware design and simulation tools, and work with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in home automation, IoT devices, or consumer electronics is an advantage.
