Role Description The Field Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The role involves meeting prospective and existing customers, explaining insurance products, and guiding them through plan comparisons and purchase decisions.

Responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting in-person consultations, and following up to close sales while meeting assigned targets. The specialist will coordinate with internal sales operations teams to ensure accurate documentation, smooth policy issuance, and timely customer support. The role also requires maintaining detailed records of interactions, gathering feedback from customers,



and representing Policybazaar.com professionally in all field engagements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and resolving queries effectively in person.
- Candidates should possess sales skills, including negotiation, closing abilities, and experience working with sales targets or quotas.
- Candidates should possess lead generation skills, such as identifying prospects, building local networks, and converting inquiries into opportunities.
- Candidates should possess sales operations skills, including basic documentation, CRM usage, and coordination with back-office teams.
- Relevant experience in field sales, financial services, or insurance distribution is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment are preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field is advantageous; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Comfort with using mobile and web-based tools for customer onboarding and tracking activities, and willingness to travel locally within Gurugram.
