Role: Data Scientist, Statistical Modeling in Retail/FMCG

Location: Remote (with 1 visit to office during joining for 3-4 weeks) or Bangalore (2-3 days/office)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong expertise in forecasting, statistical analysis, and regression modelling to solve business problems through data-driven insights. Experience in Retail, FMCG, Supply

Chain, or Demand Planning will be preferred.

Mandatory Skills

- 3–5 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, Forecasting, or a related field.
- Robust knowledge of Forecasting, Multiple Regression, and Statistics.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to communicate and present analytical findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply forecasting and statistical models to solve business and operational problems.
- Perform multiple regression and statistical analysis to identify trends, drivers, and actionable





insights.
- Analyze business data, identify patterns and anomalies, and translate findings into recommendations.
- Build analytical models and reports using Excel and MS Office tools.
- Prepare and present analytical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Independently investigate problems, formulate hypotheses, and develop data-driven solutions.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in Retail, FMCG, Supply Chain, or Demand Planning.
- Exposure to business forecasting and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications/Abilities
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics, data science.
- Demonstrated ability to take Ownership, Curious, Passion for solving problems, Detail oriented,

Analytical, Inquisitive, Ability to effectively communicate and present information

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,984,569.12 per year
