Role Purpose To effectively manage, monitor, and control crewing-related operating expenses by ensuring accurate cost recording, budget monitoring, financial analysis, and forecasting. The role supports Fleet Operations, Crewing, and Management in maintaining crew costs within approved budgets, providing timely financial insights.

Role & responsibilities

1. Ensure all crewing expenses are accurately recorded in the system with valid PO numbers.
2. Coordinate with invoice PICs and stakeholders to ensure timely closure of open POs and committed costs
3. Maintain and share crew budget variance reports with Group Head for assigned vessels
4. Support Group Head by providing data for owner queries.
5. Assist concerned teams in handling both budgeted and non-budgeted expenses
6. Support planning by providing projected costs for upcoming crew changes
7. Prepare crewing budget proposals for assigned vessels/owners as per CBA guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline

Skilled qualifications such as CA (Inter), CMA (Inter), ACCA, CPA, or an MBA in Finance are preferred but not mandatory
