About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Client Accountant to join our growing team in Vesu, Surat and work with our UK-based clients.

This role is suited to an ACCA/ACA Qualified Accountant with solid UK accountancy practice experience who is confident managing client relationships, reviewing accounting and tax work, and supporting a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses and contractors.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients and the internal accounts team to ensure accounting, tax and compliance work is delivered accurately and within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses and contractors.
- Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients.
- Support clients with bookkeeping and accounting-related queries.
- Review Statutory Accounts prepared by the accounts team.
- Review VAT returns and related work.
- Review Payroll and payroll-related information.
- Review Personal and Corporate Tax Returns.
- Review Management Accounts.
- Provide appropriate accounting and tax support to clients.
- Respond to client queries and provide ad-hoc support as required.
- Work closely with the accounts team to ensure client work is accurate and completed on time.
- Manage multiple clients, priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

- ACCA or ACA Qualified.
- Minimum 4–5 years of UK accountancy practice experience.
- Approximately 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
- Experience working within a UK accountancy firm.
- Experience managing a portfolio of UK clients is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience reviewing Statutory Accounts, VAT, Payroll, Personal Tax,



Corporate Tax and Management Accounts.
- Working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho and Sage.
- Excellent English communication and client-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.

Preferred

- ATX passed.
- Experience managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses and contractors.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role within a UK accountancy practice.

Working Hours 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM UK time, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour break.

1:30 PM-10:00 PM Indian time, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour break.
