Business Development Manager – Influencer & Content Marketing

BrandStory is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our Influencer & Content Marketing business.

We’re looking for someone who knows the agency and creator ecosystem, understands what brands are looking for, and can turn the right conversations into business.

What you’ll do

- Identify and build relationships with brands and marketing decision-makers
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and existing relationships
- Understand briefs and identify influencer and content-led opportunities
- Work with our strategy, creative and influencer teams to develop pitches and proposals
- Present, negotiate and close campaigns and retainers
- Build a strong pipeline and own monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Influencer & Creator Marketing | UGC | Social Content | Short-form Video | Content-led Campaigns | Regional Creator Programs | Product Launch Campaigns | Always-on Influencer Programs

Who we’re looking for

- 5–8 years of Business Development / Agency Sales experience
- Preferably 2–3+ years directly selling Influencer, Content, Creator or Social Media Marketing to brands
- Existing relationships with Brand Managers, Marketing Heads, Digital Heads and CMOs are a robust advantage
- Strong pitching, negotiation and closing skills
- Someone comfortable creating opportunities, not waiting for inbound leads
