Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) role based at GGI in Khanna.

The Assistant

Professor will design and deliver undergraduate CSE courses, including lectures, lab sessions, and tutorials, aligned with the institute’s curriculum and outcome-based education framework.

Responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, assessing student performance through exams and assignments, and providing academic mentoring and guidance. The role also involves engaging in research or scholarly activities, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental meetings and academic committees.

Professor will support student projects, foster industry linkages,



and help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) or Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong foundation in core CSE subjects such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and programming languages.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging lectures and labs, use modern teaching methodologies, and apply outcome-based education principles.
- Experience or interest in research, publishing in academic journals or conferences, and guiding student projects.
- Proficiency with relevant tools and technologies (e.g., at least one major programming language such as C/C++/Java/Python; exposure to modern development environments and software engineering practices).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to teach and mentor a diverse student community.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple academic responsibilities and deadlines.
- Previous teaching or academic experience at the university level is preferred; industry experience in software development or related fields is an added advantage.
