AI R&D; Lead / Founder's AI Right Hand

Help the founder explore, prototype and define what DigeeSell should build in AI.

Location: Hybrid | Gurgaon

About the Role

DigeeSell is entering AI products and solutions, but we are intentionally not pretending we already know the final product. We want a high-agency person who can work directly with the founder to explore, prototype, break, rebuild and discover what is possible. You will sit between product thinking, AI research, technical architecture and rapid execution.

What You'll Do

- Work closely with the founder on recent AI ideas, experiments and product directions.
- Turn vague ideas into testable hypotheses, prototypes, workflows and technical decisions.
- Understand the architecture and technology behind AI systems, even when you are not writing every line of production code yourself.
- Use AI coding/building tools such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw or comparable tools to rapidly create real working systems.
- Explore agents, agentic workflows, tool use, memory, RAG, multi-agent systems and emerging AI products.
- Test new AI models and tools hands-on rather than relying on marketing claims.
- Develop intuition for what models are positive and bad at, when outputs can be trusted, and where verification is needed.
- Debug ambiguous problems by moving from symptom fi hypothesis fi test fi evidence fi solution.
- Run cheap experiments first and hunt for 2×–10× improvements in speed, cost or outcome.
- Help define architecture, stack and roadmap once a promising direction is discovered.
- Document learnings and help train future hires. What You Need to Be Good At
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases and AI/LLM systems.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI and agentic systems.
- Exceptional ability to use AI coding tools to build prototypes quickly.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging ability with incomplete information.
- Excellent AI intuition around prompting, tool use, evaluation and failure modes.




- High experimentation velocity and curiosity about new tools.
- Founder/startup mindset: ownership, speed and resourcefulness.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

- Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or another modern language.
- LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK or similar.
- MCP, RAG, vector databases, APIs and automation platforms.
- Reinforcement learning, evaluation systems or self-improving AI environments.
- Previous 0fi1 startup, R&D;, product or technical founder experience.

What Success Looks Like

- Ship meaningful prototypes quickly.
- Create a repeatable system for evaluating AI ideas and tools.
- Help identify which AI opportunities deserve deeper investment.
- Establish the technical foundation for the first product direction.
- Become the founder's trusted partner for turning 'what if we tried this?' into something real.

Who Should NOT Apply

- Do not apply if you only know AI terminology but cannot demonstrate practical work.
- Do not apply if you need a fully defined specification before starting.
- Do not apply if you dislike breaking things, testing weird ideas or changing direction.
- Do not apply if you expect AI tools to replace your own judgement.

Practical Hiring Challenge

Give us an ambiguous business problem. In 48–72 hours, use AI tools to research it, form a hypothesis, build a small working prototype and record a short walkthrough explaining what worked, what failed and what you would test next.

Interview Focus

We will evaluate practical judgement, speed of learning, quality of thinking, ability to work with ambiguity, AI-tool fluency, problem-solving and evidence of execution. A polished CV alone will not be enough.
