Key Role & ResponsibilityKey Responsibilities1. Strategic Planning & Design LeadershipLead coordination with MEP consultants for Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, STP/WTP, Solar, ELV, and HVAC systems.Review and finalize concept and detailed MEP designs.Ensure compliance with National Building Code of India (NBC) and local authority regulations.Drive value engineering and cost optimization at design stage.Ensure services integration with Architecture and Structure to avoid clashes.2. High-Rise Residential Project ExecutionOversee execution of:HT/LT systems, transformers, DG backup systemsFire hydrant, sprinkler & fire alarm systemsWater supply, drainage & pressure boosting systemsSTP/WTP installationsVertical risers & shaft managementElevators coordinationLead testing & commissioning protocols.Coordinate with Fire Department, Electrical Inspectorate, and other authorities for approvals. 3. Plotted Development InfrastructureLead external infrastructure planning and execution:Underground electrical networksStreet lighting systemsWater distribution networksSewage & stormwater systemsCentralized STP & water managementCoordinate with utility agencies for power and water connections.Ensure readiness for handover and statutory clearances.4. Budgeting & Cost ControlPrepare project-level MEP budgets.Review BOQs, specifications,



and tender documents.Finalize vendors and contractors in coordination with procurement.Monitor cost deviations and implement corrective measures.5. Vendor & Team ManagementLead and mentor site MEP engineers.Monitor subcontractor performance and quality standards.Conduct periodic review meetings with consultants and contractors.Ensure adherence to safety protocols.6. Compliance & DocumentationEnsure approvals from:Fire AuthorityElectrical InspectoratePollution Control Board (for STP systems)Maintain documentation including as-built drawings, commissioning reports, and O&M; manuals.Ensure smooth transition to Facility Management team.Qualification & ExperienceB.E / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering10–18 years of experience in Residential Real EstateMandatory:Experience in High-Rise Apartments (G+12 and above preferred)Experience in large-scale plotted development infrastructureExperience working with Developer firms (preferred over contracting-only background)Key CompetenciesStrong technical expertise in residential MEP systemsLeadership and team management capabilityStrong coordination and negotiation skillsBudget control & cost optimization mindsetAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously
