Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Application Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for business-critical applications. The role involves incident management application monitoring troubleshooting user support release coordination and ensuring application availability while meeting SLA commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor application of health performance and availability.
- Resolve application incidents service requests and production issues.
- Perform troubleshooting log analysis and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Support application deployments releases and change activities.
- Coordinate with Development Infrastructure Database Security Vendor support team and Business teams for issue resolution.
- Execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Maintain tickets knowledge articles SOPs and operational documentation.
- Ensure SLA compliance and provide regular status reports.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous service improvement.
Required Skills
- Experience in Application/Production Support.
- Positive knowledge of SQL (Oracle/MS SQL/PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (Motadata ServiceNow ManageEngine Jira).
- Experience with monitoring tools (OpManager Zabbix Grafanaetc.).
- Understanding of Incident Problem Change & Release Management.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
