Role Description The Sales Associate role at Kohira is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Sales

Associate will engage directly with customers in the showroom, provide knowledgeable guidance on Kohira’s lab-grown diamond jewelry collections, and support them in selecting pieces that match their preferences and budgets. Daily responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, explaining product features and benefits, handling inquiries, processing sales transactions, and maintaining accurate records.



The role also involves ensuring optimal product displays, assisting with inventory checks, and collaborating with store leadership to meet sales targets and contribute to promotional activities.

Associate will represent Kohira’s brand values, maintain a professional appearance, and help create a welcoming and premium in-store experience.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customers.
- Sales and retail operations skills, including experience handling transactions, meeting sales goals, and managing basic inventory tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently.
- Interest in jewelry, fashion, or luxury products, with a willingness to learn about lab-grown diamonds and Kohira’s collections.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate documentation, tidy displays, and consistent store presentation.
- Comfort working in a rapid-paced showroom environment, with reliability in full-time, on-site work in Mumbai.
- Basic computer literacy for using point-of-sale systems and handling digital records; prior retail or jewelry experience is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
