Role: Commvault Backup admin
Experience range: 4- 7 years

Roles and Responsibilities
Administer and support Commvault Backup & Recovery setting.
Monitor daily backup, restore, replication, and archive jobs.
Investigate and resolve backup failures within SLA.
Perform data restoration requests for files, databases, VMs, and applications.
Configure and manage backup policies, schedules, storage policies, and retention settings.
Manage Media Agents, Comm Serve, clients, and storage libraries.
Support backup infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
Perform capacity planning and backup setting health checks.
Troubleshoot performance issues related to backups, restores, and deduplication.
Coordinate with server, database, storage, network, and application teams during incidents.
